T Richard Blair was born on February 25, 1953, and departed this earthly life on July 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife, Natalie Richardson Blair, and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mamie A. Blair and George “MF” Robinson; brothers, Clarence Blair Jr. “Milky”, Lewis Benjamin Blair “Ben” and Lloyd E. Blair; special brother, Sandy Williams “Sandman” and his nephew, Deiondre “Dee Bo” Blair and his beloved daughter, Ann Marie Cox and his special friends, Milous Meadows and Johnnie Sims Jr.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife, Natalie Richardson Blair; children, Regina (Walter) McVay, Tyria Blair, Mindy Cox, and Lyrue (Pamela) Coman; sister, Mamie Blair; aunts, Evelyn (Barry) Hubbard, Edith Mobley, Eldora McGrady and Gennie Barker; uncles, George (Marilyn) King, Reverend John (Ossie) King, mother-in-law, Grace Richardson; father-in-law, Nathaniel Richardson; brother-in-law, Terry (Ann) Richardson, sister-in-law, Vikilyn Thompson(Griffin), Joanne Richardson, Peachey (Stanley) Washington and Sarita (Robert) Joseph; special granddaughter, Korchae Cox and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, all whom were blessed by his presence and will forever hold him close in their hearts.
His life was marked by the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit, wisdom and love will remain with those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow. Internment Rose Hill Burial Park.
To the family of Richard Blair. You all have my sincere condolences. He was one of my very best friends and I will miss him terribly. God wanted him more. I was blessed to have a wonderful soul in my life. Rest well Big Daddy Rich!!!!
